Let's Try this again

I just rediscovered some things!

There was one point in my life that I did blog... somewhat consistently... and people actually read it. My mind is blown. I truly forgot that I once was a sort of blogger. And I am even more shocked that anyone read anything I had to blog about. So thank you to those of you that had interest in me all those years ago. I hope you'll jump back into this with me.

So why am I blogging again? First, for myself. Selfishly, I need a place to gather and organize my thoughts. Life keeps me busy. Dedicating time to sit and write out my thoughts is a practice I need right now. I'm currently full time mommy, full time Pilates Coordinator/Trainer/Nutrition coach, full time maid/house chef, AND attempting to share about how essential oils makes a difference in my home in anytime I have left over. It leaves little time for reflection and self development.

Which brings me to the second reason I need to reflect/blog. I am a life long learner. I believe the more you know, the more you realize you don't know. I believe to help others grow you must also grow yourself. Some times I get too wrapped up in the tasks around me to look back and learn from the interactions I'm having every day. So second selfish reason for blogging - my personal self development.

Lastly - and it's a big one - I want to blog again to start a conversation about life. I want one place where I can tie all the little peaces of me that stay so separate from one another throughout the day together. This blog is a place I a can freely talk about our families health and wellness journey on a multitude of levels. Wellness is not just: fitness and nutrition or the numbers from your blood work, mental health, relationship health, ect. The list could go on for days but my point is breaking these areas up and saying one of them is health and wellness does not meet my requirements. Health and wellness encompasses so much more than what our bodies look like on the outside. It's finding the balance and harmony in these all these areas that brings us to true health and wellness. It's always a work in progress because life is always changing. Accepting where you are today and making a conscious effort to support a healthier tomorrow is what I strive for in our home. Some days are more successful than others. I hope my story will inspire healthy, thoughtful conversations in others homes.

I hope you join me.
